Congress is (or has) written a new law that will go into effect in 2012 that will require the seller of any silver or gold in the amount of $200 or more, must submit a form 1099.

Just as in the prior great depression they (our almighty leaders .gov)will tell you when to turn it in and what they are going to pay you for it. DO NOT DO IT!!!! Stand and fight.

Obama is Bush, who spent like a drunken sailor, on megasteroids. Since this post, there is no denying that he is spending this country into a hole it may never be able to dig out of. Silver & gold are traditional hedges against inflation, which is inevitable when governments overspend and print money like the US is.

Thanks for the comment. I would have loved to have been able to cherry pick bank rolls back in the 50′s & 60′s but I wasn’t even a gleam in my dad’s eye till 1968. It would be nice to have some contemporary coins to collect with intrinsic value but they are all clads & essentially not worth the metal they are minted in anymore…
